I believe in these challenging times experience is required; for this reason I again seek your support for the mayoral position. I will provide the vision and strong leadership necessary to improve and enhance the life of our current residents and business owners while charting a strong course for Buffalo's growth without losing it's small town feel. As your mayor, I would work with other agencies and institutions within and outside the city limits of Buffalo to ensure no opportunities for collaboration are missed. Partnering with Johnson County and other agencies is vital to the long term livability of our community. Due to the downturn taking place around us, we are no longer a small town able to operate in a vacuum assuming forces outside the community are not shaping Buffalo. We must continue to think outside the box and deal with these issues together in order to keep our hometown. Most of the country is recovering and moving forward and so will we.

What does âkeeping our hometownâ mean? Hometown means something different to everyone. To me, itâs the place for children to grow up, go to school, marry, raise their family, work, and retire. To some, itâs the place they have chosen to live and play. Whatever hometown means to you, we should be working diligently at improving and sharing the vision that makes âhometownâ what it is to each of us. My commitment to you is to continue, âkeeping our hometownâ by working to improve the quality of life for the residents, business owners, and youth of Buffalo.â
